Prayer At The Four Corners
Son of man, ask your congregation this question:
Why does the officiating minister pray and spray holy water
at the four corners of the temple?
First, he prays at each of the four corners of the temple.
Then, he sprays holy water three times,
in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
To welcome each of the four Archangels in charge of the four corners of the world.
What do you do?
When you go to a house to collect what is inside the house?
Do you just enter, take something and go away?
Or, do you first inform those inside the house?
You first inform those inside the house,
before taking anything.
Likewise, the officiating ministers first invoke the four Archangels before ministration.
It is good to give honour to whom honour is due.
